UCLA DataX + IDRE Research in the Age of AI Symposium
Janey Rountree, executive director of CPL’s UCLA site, is one of the presenters during the lighting round segment of this symposium. Janey will be speaking about the CPL’s research partnership with LA County on the Homelessness Prevention Unit (HPU) pilot.
This one-day symposium explores the effect of artificial intelligence on research. The event brings together speakers from across UCLA to provide a multifaceted perspective on the role of AI in academic research. It features sessions that approach the question of the impact of AI through multiple lenses, including an exploration of the fundamentals of intelligence and artificial intelligence, multidisciplinary panel discussions, and lightning talks showcasing innovative AI research underway at UCLA.
This event is for current UCLA faculty, students, academic employees, and staff employees. Only those actively employed by, enrolled at, or affiliated with UCLA should register.
