head shot of Catie Lott

Catie Lott is a data analyst at CPL Berkeley where she manages data linkages and provides data support and analytical solutions across research projects.

Catie has a strong interest in using data to improve policy and governance. Before joining CPL, she worked for the federal government. At the Veterans Health Administration, her research projects focused on health outcomes and health disparities among veterans. More recently, she served as a data scientist at the Office of Personnel Management, where she supported the program that provides health insurance for federal employees. Her work at both agencies focused on linking large datasets to support policy and decision-making, something she is excited to continue in her role at CPL. With a background in health services research, Catie is passionate about supporting health equity and positive health outcomes, and she is interested in exploring other major policy areas that are interconnected with health, including climate, education, and labor.

Catie holds an MPH in biostatistics from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Bachelor’s in biology from William & Mary. She is very committed to voting rights and supporting local elections and serves as an election official each year. Outside of work, Catie enjoys trying new craft projects, baking sweet treats, and exploring local parks and trails.
